The vermouth bar is a fun, informal place facing the Gran Vía where quality yet simple tapas are served. A space where you can find one of the best breakfasts in the area, Mahou cañas and vermouths together with a selection of food to pay homage to tapas not to mention the appetiser we like the most, getting together on Sundays at lunchtime.
Certified restaurant by MSC/ASC (First certified hotel chain in southern Europe, Dominican Republic and Mexico) From Iberostar, and within the frame of our ‘Wave of Change’ initiative, we are working to offer our customers a range of seafood increasingly responsible, with the health of our oceans and the people and communities depending on them."
We are an avant-garde vermouth bar: we are advocates of local things, the small supplier and Madrid’s popular culture. We offer an agile menu, straightforward, with the best cheeses and cold cuts from Octavio’s stall at San Antón Market, a wide range of good tins, mussels, sardines, cockles, and the tapas and dishes that are a must: Olivier salad, the calamari roll, callos a la madrileña, or Spanish omelette. And of course, montaditos, but not just your usual: Iberian salchichón with tomato and piparra chilli peppers, tuna and Olivier salad or any other product from the display cabinet. And for dessert? A Nocilla sandwich just like in the old times. Impossible to fail. Open from 8 am, we propose a breakfast typical from Madrid: churros, Iberian montadito, Spanish omelette and toast with coffee or tea, with a freshly squeezed orange juice.
From perfectly poured Mahou cañas to artisan beers from Madrid and a selection of vermouths coming from all parts of Spain: Galicia, Jerez, Castile & Leon, Tarragona or Castellón, our vermouth menu continuously changes to embrace new trends. Wines and sparkling wines are a must, by the bottle or glass, and so are the most classic aperitifs like Negroni, Aperol, Americano or the popular half combination in addition to a selection of organic juices, coffee and teas.
